Taste of Ulster & Tourism NI Accreditations

Montalto are thrilled to be able to share the news that we have received two wonderful accreditations in as many months.

For the fifth year in a row, we have passed our Taste of Ulster inspection (these are the little plaques proudly displayed at The Café entrance). This award is all about being connected with the finest food and drink in NI.

NI Good Food know you’ll want confidence that where you choose to eat will deliver on taste, atmosphere, service and value. Well, you can trust they’ve checked to ensure we meet their strict criteria, as they don’t just let anyone in!

Moreover, we are delighted that Montalto Estate, once again, has been awarded a five-star visitor attraction grade from Tourism NI. This grade indicates the level of quality our visitors can experience, and a score of five-star is deemed Exceptional or World Class. Participating in the scheme shows our commitment to maintaining, and continually improving the quality of our offering.

The star award is an independent mark of quality, and when assessing the experience, TNI undergo the full customer journey, to see the experience from the visitor’s viewpoint.

Keith Reilly, Operations Directors commented, “I am so proud of the whole team at Montalto, and these awards are achieved by them, for them. Taste of Ulster very much focusses on the dining experience, the customer service, and of course the food taste and presentation. For Tourism NI, to hit the highest of grades, they expect cleanliness, tidiness, but also the best when it comes to attitude and efficiency from staff. As a business we repeatedly put ourselves forward for this external scrutiny as we know our team will deliver, and we want our visitors to know their expectations will be met time and again. Well done again Team Montalto, our best asset, setting the benchmark once again.”
