The Café at Montalto is a stylish eatery which specialises in locally inspired dishes that people love – all served the Montalto way.
There are areas on the 400-acre estate where the gardening team, led by Head Gardener, Lesley Heron grows a sizeable amount of produce for use in The Café. Showcasing the produce of local, artisan suppliers and incorporating it into their dishes has enabled Montalto to nurture strong relations with them. Our chefs use many suppliers including Springmount Farm, Ewing’s Seafoods and Draynes Farm in the various weekly specials available for purchase. The reason for this is simple: supporting these producers as well as growing our own produce, helps to sustain the local economy and ensures that we can use the freshest, highest quality, naturally grown produce.

Finally, trees, flowers, and shrubbery are prominent throughout the interior, while many of the eatery’s interior furniture pieces have been handmade from trees sourced on the estate. This ‘natural beauty everywhere’ design approach ensures a natural, memorable, and thoroughly relaxing dining environment, that’s conducive to healthy eating and personal wellbeing.
We’re also pleased to offer a dedicated dog-friendly area, so your four-legged friends can enjoy the Montalto experience right alongside you.
