Spring has Sprung at Montalto Estate

Spring is the perfect time to boost your body and mind with colder months causing us to almost hibernate during the gloomy weather, which is now hopefully behind us. Being surrounded by nature has been proven to reduce blood pressure and has been long known to elevate our mood and ease stress. From early to mid spring, the flowers are bursting with colour and with a mix of newly planted Rhododendron hybrids; spring will showcase the vivid scenery of Montalto Estate, touching the landscape with colour and life.

Beams of sunlight, darting through the estate treetops increases Vitamin D intake.  Just what our bodies need following the dark winter months. The return of spring enables us to spend more time outdoors, embracing the warmth of the sun that touches our skin.

Spring is time for busy bees, birdsong, blooms and butterflies. There is love in the air at the estate with the males of the bird world showing off their brilliant colours and boasting their wonderful singing, all with the hope of attracting a mate.

It’s also a great time to get active again and Montalto Estate is the perfect place to do just that.  It provides a blissful opportunity to walk the dog or enjoy a relaxing stroll with an old friend, all whilst exercising and releasing those ‘feel good’ endorphins.  The three walking trails on the estate provide the perfect opportunity to reenergise your senses.  As you meander around the lake, take the time to marvel at the large drifts of deciduous azaleas.  There is plenty to observe and appreciate and if you are lucky enough as you stroll the pathways of Montalto, you may even spot a red squirrel high in the trees.

Welcome spring at Montalto Estate.
