Recruiting – Marketing Manager – 14 Month Maternity Cover

Do you have the experience and desire to get involved in marketing at a successful five-star visitor attraction? We are currently recruiting for a full-time marketing professional to cover a maternity.

The job will focus on building out all of the marketing activities of the business under an already developed clear strategic plan. You must be a self-starter as there will be a high degree of autonomy over your work day, with as much support as needed from senior management, in all aspects.  You will work closely with the management team to create and run engaging marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of marketing, from digital to advertising, design, PR and content creation.

 

Example tasks and areas of responsibility:

Manage and drive the strategy and content for social media channels

Organise and attend relevant exhibitions, shows and industry events

Deliver regular PR content utilising PR agency when appropriate

Develop and manage a regular e-newsletter

Developing and maintaining two websites

Managing and executing video projects, either in-house or with third party providers

Developing print and digital sales & marketing materials

Planning and delivery of promotion/support for a variety of elements across Montalto, including weddings, gardens, café, shop and membership

Undertake market research, identifying potential sales channels and customers, for review by senior management

You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of the business

 

 

Essential skills and abilities:

Must be able to demonstrate relevant experience

Strong attention to detail

Ability to use Microsoft Office

Corporate social media experience

IT savvy

Strong communication skills

Ability to prepare clear and concise presentations, and reports

Comfortable with event work including being the lead person at exhibition stands and at marketing events

Professional demeanor

Effective time management with minimal supervision

A willingness to work within a team

 

Desirable skills:

Experience in the following; sales, event marketing, Canva, Mailchimp, GoogleAds and CMS experience

Job Type: Fixed-term contract – 14 months

Salary: £30,000 per year pro rata
