March Magic is Blooming

Spring Returns & Woodland Trail Reopens

We’re delighted to welcome visitors back to Montalto Estate this spring, with the Woodland Trail now fully reopened following extensive clearance and safety work after Storm Éowyn. Our team has worked hard to make the trail safe, with daily checks in place, so you can enjoy a peaceful walk among the trees once again. We thank you all for your patience during this time and hope to see you back on the trail soon.

March brings fresh energy to the gardens and trails. The Winter Garden is full of seasonal highlights like Witchhazel and Edgeworthia, daffodils are brightening the landscape, and buds are swelling across trees and shrubs. Wildlife is returning too, with birdsong, ducks, and bees bringing life to every corner of the estate. It’s the perfect time to explore, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy spring unfolding at Montalto.

Grow With Us: Beginners Gardening Club Returns

As the gardens evolve, there’s no better time to grow your own gardening knowledge. Our Beginners Gardening Club returns this March, offering welcoming, practical sessions led by Montalto’s experienced Gardening Team. Mother’s Day also takes centre stage this month, with thoughtful events, seasonal Café specials and beautiful inspired gifts available in the Shop, perfect for celebrating someone special. We will also be marking International Women’s Day, celebrating and recognising the achievements of women across our community and beyond.
