For Family Fun, Look No Further
Over the past few years, Montalto Estate has had a firm grip on what makes family fun days out so special, and 2025 promises to deliver yet again. With each year, an improved offering of activities, snacks, and overall bang for your buck has been our top priority. One of those days out that the kids will be reminiscing of for years to come.
This year, we’re hoping the trend continues. Families are presented with one of our upcoming family fun day events, they book and arrive on the day, their little ones can explore and play, their palates will be satisfied, and had their itch to reconnect with nature scratched – leaving them with the overall feeling that they’ve received their money’s worth, and more!
The content on these days often varies to prevent fun days becoming stale, with the core features of Montalto being ever present, ensuring a consistent mind-blowing experience for all ages. You can be sure that with each passing event, our teams have huddled together and put their thinking caps on, with the aim to improve every aspect possible from feedback presented, looking to guarantee an improvement on the last for each one of our visitors.

Easter Monday at Montalto
Monday 21st April, 10am – 3pm
Explore with an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt featuring beautifully designed eggs created by local schools, all set against the stunning backdrop of spring in our Trails and Gardens. While the little ones play, treat yourself to a mouth watering barbecue, with burgers sizzling fresh off the grill. Relax with a refreshing drink, soak up the spring sunshine, and enjoy the music at Montalto House.

Cash for Kids Day 2025
Monday 1st May, 9:30am – 3pm
Cash for Kids is fighting Holiday Hunger. For some children, their school dinner is the only proper meal of the day. During the holidays, struggling families simply can’t afford enough food, so they’re going hungry, with some parents even eating nothing to provide for their children.
Montalto will be taking part in the 1 Million Steps Challenge, where we have pledged to walk a sponsored 10,000 steps on Cash for Kids Day.
Our team will be out walking around the Trails & Gardens on Thursday 1st May, dressed in our favourite, brightest colours, plus we’ll also be fundraising on the day all in aid of Holiday Hunger. Join us on the trails between 9:30am and 3pm in your most colourful ‘rainbow’ attire, and we’ll make a donation on your behalf!

Magnificent May Weekend
Sunday 4th May, 10am – 3pm
Bask in the spring sunshine and unwind with live music in the stunning Walled Garden. Enjoy garden games and family-friendly fun at the Woodland Play Park, with train rides* available to explore the beautiful Trails and Gardens. Stop by our Café for a selection of delicious breakfast and lunch options, whether you prefer dining indoors or enjoying the fresh air al fresco.
Monday 5th May, 10am – 3pm
Discover a vibrant Spring Market in The Carriage Rooms, featuring beautifully handcrafted items from talented local artisans. From handmade jewelry and soaps to unique homeware and gifts, there’s something special for everyone. Throughout the day, children can enjoy thrilling train rides* and access to the Woodland Play Park. We’ll also have live music, a mouth-watering BBQ in the Walled Garden, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options in our Café to make your day even more memorable.

World Bee Day
Sunday 18th May, 11am – 2pm
Enjoy insightful talks from Scott Hamilton, owner of The Hamilton Honey Bee Co., plus the kids can take part in a buzzing, bee-themed activity, before venturing down to the Woodland Play Park! Explore the Walled Garden, and wander through the stunning orchard and wildflower meadow—a true haven for bees and other pollinators.

Bank Holiday BBQ & Local Talent

Join us in The Walled Garden, on May Bank Holiday, for a day full of entertainment and food in the perfect surroundings. Grab a bite to eat from our BBQ station*, along with a cold, refreshing drink while enjoying live music by local musicians in our stunning and exclusive Walled Garden surroundings. There’s something for the kids too, with fun garden games, access to the Woodland Play Park, and exciting train rides** to keep them entertained!

Father’s Day

Treat Dad to a relaxing and memorable Father’s Day at the beautiful Montalto Estate! Fathers go FREE! That’s right, Dads and Grandads get complimentary entry to the Estate on Sunday 15th June with every paying adult.

Immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings while admiring an impressive display of classic cars and bikes. Get up close to these incredible machines, learn about their history, upkeep, and unique features, and enjoy the passion that keeps them on the road. Whether you’re a dedicated enthusiast or just appreciate a beautiful vintage vehicle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Make it a fun-filled day out for the whole family! We’ll have music, a sizzling BBQ, hot drinks, inflatables, garden games, an adventure playpark, and plenty more to keep everyone entertained. All in support of Cancer Fund for Children!

Rebarkable Day Out
Sunday 29th June, 1am – 3pm
A tail-wagging celebration packed with fun, games, and plenty of treats for both pups and their humans! Whether you’ve got a bouncy puppy, a gentle old soul, or simply love being around dogs, this special event is designed for every dog enthusiast.
In June 2024, we proudly opened the Bark Park at Montalto Estate, and it’s been a paws-itively huge hit! This dedicated canine space includes a large, secure off-lead area for safe and energetic play, a dog agility course for fun physical and mental challenges, and welcoming environment for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages!
We’re celebrating one year of tail wags and good times at the Bark Park! Come hang out at a Rebarkable Day Out — our special anniversary event packed with pup-friendly fun!

Tractor Show
Thursday 3rd August 11am – 3pm
Display your tractor on the front lawn at Montalto House, with live country tunes blasting and great prizes to be won on the day, this one’s shaping up to be some yoke!
Whether it’s been in your family for generations or just rolled out of your shop, this is your chance to share your tractor’s story, showcase your hard work, and connect with fellow lovers.
Proceeds from the event will go to Air Ambulance NI
