February Fun & Seasonal Treats at Montalto
February is a wonderful time to wrap up warm, step outside and enjoy everything the season has to offer at Montalto Estate. With half term just around the corner and the first gentle hints of spring beginning to appear, it’s the perfect moment to slow down, get some fresh air, and spend quality time together in beautiful surroundings. Our trails and gardens are full of winter charm, offering peaceful walks, opportunities to spot seasonal wildlife and plants, and plenty of space for little explorers to roam while the grown ups enjoy the restorative power of nature.
There’s lots happening across the estate this month, with seasonal activities to enjoy right now and exciting events to look forward to. From creative flower arranging experiences like Galentine’s Tea & Bestie Bouquets, where friends can sip, chat, and design their own hand-tied bouquet before indulging in afternoon tea, to relaxed moments spent catching up over a warm cup of tea in the café, February at Montalto is all about feel good experiences.
Garden lovers can also start the year inspired by our welcoming Beginners Gardening Club, led by Montalto’s Gardening Team, offering hands-on learning and practical advice in a friendly, supportive setting. If you missed our February session, check out our March session on 3rd which covers; Seeds & Springtime Prep – Hosted by Lesley Herron. This showcases the basics of sowing seeds, preparing the garden for spring, and building confidence to grow plants successfully!
After exploring the estate, The Café at Montalto is the perfect place to refuel and warm up. Throughout February, enjoy comforting seasonal dishes and sweet treats, from stonebaked sourdough pizzas for National Pizza Day and kid friendly half-term favourites, to indulgent Valentine’s inspired bakes, pancake stacks, and special Pancake Tuesday plates.
